IIMC’s first Agriculture Project has been initiated at Dukherpole. The village is located in Sundarban area of South 24- Parganas of West Bengal. Needless to say, the villages are poverty stricken. People are mostly illiterate; and a lot of superstition and social injustice is prevailing in the area.

Activities carried on:

• Cultivation of IIMC’s own farmland.
• Providing water to poor farmers by shallow pump.
• Breeding ornamental fish  in IIMC’s own pond.     
• Sunflower & Flavoured Basmati Rice are a great & amazing production
