The Women Excellence centers are community centers that belong entirely to the women of the village where they are located. The aim of these centers is to offer women a multi purpose structure where different activities can be organized: these include daily activities such as a handloom and a knitting unit, as well as occasional events. For instance, if a poor girl of the village gets married and has no place to celebrate, she can take advantage of these spaces; these can also be used by the WPC groups to organize events involving all women of the village, such as a movie show or a theatrical representation
