Management & Governing Body

The Board of Trustees, chaired by Prof. S.B. Chowdhury, is composed of 7 members, all of whom are successful personalities of the community. They meet every 4 months to review and approve recent financial transactions and to make new plans for the following months. The Board delegates its powers to 4 different sub-committees. Each sub-committee, which has at least one Board member, meets every 3 months to discuss plans and to implement the proposals of the Board of Trustees. The Core Group team is composed of 5 members. These, headed by Dr. Sujit Kumar Brahmochary, are in charge of a specific programme. The Core Group meets up several times every week to practically discuss the implementation of all activities and deal with all issues arising from the day-to-day management of the project.

Mrs. Barnali Brahmochary Designation- Co-ordinator Education Unit	Experience: 24 years experience in Child Education, Women’s Rights and Empowerment. Professional Experience: Manage 32 schools of various levels. Take care of 3 Orphanages, Handicapped centre and cress. Coordinate the activities of 20-25 international participants of various programs every month. Keep direct communication and cooperation with IIMC international support groups in 25 countries. Appreciation: Award received from The University Women Association of Kolkata in 2014. Recognised as an eminent Social Worker by Rotary International. Most Enjoyable Experience:Work as a Peace and Social activist, aiming at everyone’s emancipation from illiteracy, illness and social injustice.
